Hello!

I might be posting a few parallel questions to clearly separate different issue, as I’m trying to use a Nitrokey 3 _programmaticaly_ to decrypt small messages.

Let’s start with the nitropy piv issues (my first effort was trying to use the PIV interface)

Please let me know if you need more info on my system

Running on MacOS (Tahoe 26)

I’m getting this error:

```auto
% nitropy nk3 piv --experimental factory-reset
Command line tool to interact with Nitrokey devices 0.10.0
Nitrokey Nitrokey 3
Critical error:
An unhandled exception occurred
	Exception encountered: StatusError(27013)
Warning: no backend was found to use for communication. Please refer to documentation how to install additional libraries.
```

Attached question would be how mature is the piv --experimental support cross platform, and if it’s a wrong direction to explore programmatically right now. Is it ONLY for windows - and that’s why some commands are failing?
