Nitrokey 3A: Measured Boot of NitroPads?

A Nitrokey can be used to conduct measured boot when booting up a NitroPad, cool stuff. So far, one cannot choose a Nitrokey 3A for this when buying a new NitroPad.

  1. Do you (i.e. Nitrokey) have the plan to offer this in general?
  2. If so, when do you roughly want to do so?
  3. Assuming one buys a NitroPad separately from a Nitrokey 3A, can the user exchange the Nitrokey used for Measured Boot?

Indeed, for now Nitropads need Nitrokey Pro or Nitrokey Storage to work with measured boot.

  1. Yes, Nitrokey 3 should support the measured boot. In general by design it should gather all of the Nitrokey Pro, Nitrokey FIDO2 and Nitrokey Start (multiple identities) features.
  2. No specific schedule yet - to be established. We will surely focus on the major features first.
  3. Interesting question. Can you write to shop@nitrokey with it?
