# Qubes re-installation after disk drive breakage/replacement

I’m interested to buy a Nitropad laptop with Qubes. I have a question about the installation procedure:
if in the future, for any reason, I need to replace the disk drive and so to re-install Qubes with its original configuration, is the shipped Nitrokey2Pro sufficient to complete the whole re-installation on the new disk drive? Need I a second key to do this? Something else?

Hi @Damiano!
In that case you can use any image, ideally [ours](https://www.nitrokey.com/files/qubes/latest.iso) and run through the guide below:

The Nitrokey Pro2 device should be reconfigured as well. Perhaps you will find the following ‘Starting guide’ useful too:
