Using Nitrokey with GUI tools

Greetings!

I have been using my Nitrokey Pro for securely connecting to my servers, and it’s an absolute delight so far. Everything is working great using OpenSSH. However, I haven’t been able to find a way to properly use it with GUI tools such as Royal TSX. Indeed, most of them require selecting a private key file, which is not directly accessible on the key.
I tried to reference one of the private key stubs located under ~/.gnupg/private-keys-v1.d/, but honestly, I am not sure of what I was doing there.
So, what would be the recommended approach when confronted with this problem? Is it simply impossible without direct communication with gpg-agent?

Thank you for any help you’ll be able to provide me with. Cheers!

Hi!

I do not know this software unfortunately. That depends on, how do they communicate with smart card devices, if at all (that is using it indirectly). In case they are using OpenSC, the key handle could be provided with the p11tool:

$ p11tool --list-keys

Could you ask their support about this?
