Some may wonder , when they do a factory reset described like here
with option 5 you might face the following issues: the passwords are reset to standards 1…6/8 but you are not able to open the encrypted volume nor the password safe. Looks like also the AES keys are destroyed, but not recreated.
So you need also after changing the default pw’s you will need to recreate AES key ( Destroy encrypted data ) . After that , you will be able to open the password safe ( which is of course empty )
