ChromeOS Flex on Nitropad?

Anyone tried it on a nitropad? Seems like a worthy candidate for a more secure by default OS than Ubuntu, and more easily resettable than Qubes?

Possibly with self-signing ChromeOS images via TPM/heads?

Hello, interesting idea, but that won’t work. Heads is an firmware alternative to UEFI and uses TPM registers different than secure boot., so you can’t mix and match. It also needs an /boot/grub/grub.cfg file and to my knowledge ChromeOS won’t provide that.

You can, however, theoretically use any Linux distro that supports GRUB booting/legacy-MBR layout. Ubuntu is just a distribution supported/shipped by Nitrokey on the pads.
