Hello!

Please update the documentation to install pynitrokey here.

For Mageia 10 - with comes with python 3.13 - you need the following libraries:

python3-devel
lib64udev-devel
lib64pcsclite-devel

The first two for pynitrokey itself. And the last for the PIV application.

You need to install the udev rules as described here.

So the best way to install pynitrokey , to be able to use PIV also, you should use this command:

pipx install pynitrokey[pcsc]

Everything from pipx can be done without admin rights.
