I’m planning to buy the Nitropad v54 with the Coreboot+Heads, the model without Nvidia card. I cannot discovered any news on the Qubes or Nitrokey, that this laptop model is certified by the Qubes OS. Only the V56 - The NitroPad V56 is Qubes certified! | Qubes OS
As I see, the both Pads have the same hardware. The V56 is certified and V54 still not yet…
On the shop page NitroPad V54 | shop.nitrokey.com , I see the option to make a choice with the installed Qubes + Coreboot-Heads.
Could you confirm or refute that the V54 supports the Software (coreboot+heads & qubes)?
Is somebody runs Qubes on v54?
I am in the same situation.
I wonder, if “The NovaCustom V54 Series 14.0 inch coreboot laptop is Qubes certified! | Qubes OS”, does that also apply to the “NitroPad V54”?
So is it safe/recommended to buy the NitroPad V54 with Heads already?
Would be nice.
I am used to Qubes, but new to “Heads”. Therefore I am unsure.
Is it OK to buy the NitroPad V54 with Ubuntu/Heads now and reinstall Qubes later? (My fear is I run into trouble with the nitrokey, Heads, stuff. never done it.)
Well it says on the website:
" ### Sofort verfügbar mit Dasharo TianoCore. An Unterstützung von Heads wird gearbeitet (Q1/Q2 2025). ###"
So Heads does not work at the moment? (cannot be ordered)
Is it possible to move to Heads later on? (Well, can I do it on my own then?)
