Nitro App 2 UI Clarification

Hello!

There is no documentation about Nitro App2 unlike the App1

so when you open the interface you get a bit confused when it comes to :

Fido2
– Pin Change
– Factory reset
Passwords
– Pin Change
– Factory reset

I assume that FIDO2 Pin change is used as a 2FA

but is Pin Change under “Passwords” Tab related to admin ? or the admin Password for App2 doesn’t apply ?

Hello,

you can find the NK App 2 documentation here:

The PIN for Passwords is the one needed to unlock the passwords database when you click on the padlock.

You should find all these information in the documentation.

So in Nitrokye App 2 there is no overarching “Admin PIN” that protects the application itself ? meaning anyone who accesses the app can then change the FIDO2 PIN?
Did I miss something ?

No there is not.

Changing the FIDO2 PIN requires the old PIN.

But yes you can perform a factory reset, you can also do the same with nitropy.
