On macOS Catalina 10.15.7 I get in Firefox, Chrome and Safari following message on https://update.nitrokey.com/

Nitrokey FIDO2 Webupdate

Unsupported OS/browser configuration

Firmware updates are disabled due to a bug. We are working on solving it.

Sorry for the delay. The Webupdate service is open again for all operating systems.
For Windows now an additional popup is required to be cancelled, which is signalized in the wizard’s UI.
Issue details:

In case in the future any longer outage would happen again, I would like to note that alternative option for the firmware update is available - through a Python tool:
