Hello everyone,
I’ve noticed that the after the initialization the actual token name follows this naming convention:
UserPIN (<label>)
where <label> is the label name provided at initialization time, e.g.
pkcs11-tool --init-token --label=<label> ...

I wonder whether it’s possible to force the label name not to include UserPIN(..) part.
Any hints?

Hi Federico!

I do not know the answer unfortunately.
I think this is OpenSC implementation related, and the UserPIN suffix is here to mark PIN acceptance. I would ask OpenSC developers about this, if it cannot be found in the documentation
