Today my Nitrokey Pro seemed to have just died. When I plug it into my laptop, gpg doesn’t see it. Then I noticed not even lsusb nor dmesg shows any traces of it as it used to do. I’ve tried all USB ports. I also tried on my mobile with USB-OTG, where it also used to work just perfectly fine.
Is this something which just happens? My key is about 2 years old now, and not even used daily. What can I do to recover it, or is it even possible to do so?
