Btw, is there a plan to make the official application usable on older distros? CentOS/RHEL 6 are not new by any measure, but will be supported till (I think) 2020 and are in rather broad use.
Not in the moment. Making the Nitrokey App available for up-to-date distros is a lot of work and we don’t have capacity to focus on older distros too. However, we are open to accept patches if you would provide such.
