Hi, I’d like to have a RSA signing key and an ECC (Curve 25519) encryption subkey. Is this possible with the Nitrokey Start? I plan to generate the keys on a computer and then move them to the key with the gnupg keytocard command. Thank you!
This article describes how to set the algorithm for each key separately. If you set it accordingly, using different algorithms might work. However I never tried and don’t know if GnuPG can deal with it.
I don’t see why GnuPG shouldn’t be able to handle this, especially as you are allowed to choose the type for every subkey you create, but I never tested it either.
