NitroPad boot issue / Invalid signature on kexec boot params

Having successfully booted my new NitroPad laptop computer with NitroKey Pro yesterday, running and updating QubesOS, today I get the following boot error:

*** Found verified kexec boot params
gpg: verify signatures failed: Unknown system error
Invalid signature on kexec boot params
!!!!! Failed default boot
New value of PCR[4]: string of hex
!!!!! Starting recovery shell
/boot #

Could someone please help me with this problem?

Danke!

Does this message appear when starting Heads or after selecting Default Boot? Do you have a screenshot from the screen right before this message?

Jan,

The error message appears after the BIOS/boot Heads startup and after I’ve chosen the Default Boot option.

Here’s the screen just prior to choosing Default Boot:

Please try “Options” -> “Update checksums and sign all files in /boot”

Thank you so much!

That worked!

Könntest Du @Jan bitte nochwas dazu sagen?

As this solution does not work for me, as I do not have a PIN left (It’s stupid, yes, I know) is there an alternative to Factory reset if you are locked out of the system?

If I need to do Factory reset, is there any guidance for beginners, like for https://www.nitrokey.com/documentation/nitropad-systemaktualisierung ?

Can I do anything wrong?

I have not been able to find any information about this on your site, so I am answering to this comment.

Thanks
