NitroPad NS70 unable to unlock disk out of the box

Just received my NitroPad NS70, HEADS+Qubes. The PleaseChangeMe passphrase does not unlock the disk.

What can we do?

this is weird, I can’t really imagine how this can be.
I would suggest to try it some more times and be very picky about every keystroke.

If you are under the impression the device has to be fixed, please write to support (at) nitrokey (dot) com and also include your order number (SOxxxxxxx) there we can arrange a repair.
