Hello. I received my new NitroPad V56 with Qubes OS just today.
After finishing the setup procedure and logging into Qubes OS, I wonder how to connect to a network. I did some research and found that I need sys-net for a network connection.
I’m new to Qubes OS. When I look at the Qube Manager, I see no sys qubes.
How can I get the sys qubes?
Thanks in advance.
Hello, something wrong might happened during the installation.
Do you have other sys qubes (such as sys-usb, sys-firewall) ?
For security manners I would suggest that you re-install QubesOS on your NitroPad.
Thank you for your reply. In the Qube Manager, I see the following.
Name Template NetVM
==================================================
dom0 AdminVM n/a
debian-12-xfce TemplateVM default (n/a)
default-dvm debian-12-xfce n/a
fedora-41-xfce TemplateVM default (n/a)
whonix-gateway-17 TemplateVM default (n/a)
whonix-workstation-17 TemplateVM default (n/a)
No sys qubes. I just know about the sys qubes because I have seen them in a screenshot of the Qube Manager in the documentation.
What options do I have for re-installing? I do not see a recovery partition or something similar.
Yes so it seems that all sys-qubes are not created you only have the templates.
You can use the official image from QubesOS:
And you can also find a guide for the installation here:
