NitroPC - make FactoryReset - How2do?

Hi there,

perhaps a silly question, but …

I just want to reset my NitroPC to initial state as it was delivered. In other words: I want to make a complete factory reset - including the initial password- and change the password process.

Do I understand it correct:

  • I just need to download the OS-ISO (in my case ubuntu) from the nitrokey-site,
  • create an bootable USB-stick on an PC of my choice (USB 2 because USB 3 won’t boot)
  • Boot the stick on my NitroPC and follow the instructions

Hi Henk,

you understand correctly. You can enter the Bios via hitting ESC during the startup.
