Nitrophone won't load graphene os

Hi, i have the nitrophone 4a. i had a graphene os update available and my phone battery died. I plugged it in and my son may have unplugged it while the os was updating. Now i cant load the os.

Problem: I plug it in and press the power button. Then i get cycling of three screens: first it says another os is loading, then google logo, then graphene os logo, then it repeats nonstop.

I guess i need to re-install the os? Please explain how to fix this problem like im a newbie (thats why my username is noob). I dont have my data backed up but i dont have much data on the phone so its no big deal.

Thanks for the support and thanks for supporting privacy.

Hello, I don’t think that your NitroPhone is broken.

I think you have this behavior because of the battery being no charged enough to boot.

What you can do is to stop the boot procedure with the power button during the first screen.

Let it charge for some time and then resume the boot procedure.

If it has enough battery it should successfully boot.

Thanks so much, that fixed my problem! It also highlights another problem with this new nitrophone - it charges very slowly. Much slower than my old nitrophone. Oh well, I’ll deal with that problem later. Thanks!

No problem,

If you see fast charging in your lock screen then you should be fine.

If you see slow charging then make sure to use a 18w at least power outlet and if it’s already the case then try with another USB C cable.
