Physically removing NFC module from NK3A

Is de-soldering the NFC IC FM11NC08 from the PCB of the NK3A enough or do I need to modify the firmware too?

whats the problem with nfc modules , why would you want to remove it :sweat_smile:.
Also i don’t believe you can flash your own or modified firmware on the nk3 unless its signed by nitrokey developers itself (for security reasons - i confirmed from the team) or unless you purchased the DIY version of nitrokey which allows self signed firmware to be flashed.
