Problems with UIF and Nitrokey 3

Unable to disable UIF with Nitrokey 3.

gpg/card> uif 1 off
gpg: error for setup UIF: PIN blocked

Have verified that admin pin entered is correct (by using it to change the admin pin).

Firmware version v1.8.3, gpg (GnuPG) 2.4.8.

Hello, this is because the uif attribute you are trying to modify is set as permanent so you need to perform a factory reset if you want to be able to change it.
