UK Customs Brokerage

Hello, I am new here.
Recently received a NitroPC and Pixel 10. I am getting what looks to be genuine enquiries from UPS Customs Brokerage.:

**We are contacting you regarding 1Z65X19V6892968786, from NITROKEY GMBH. **
please kindly confirm that the 3rd line commodity is described as a donation for charity, and that the 4th line commodity is described as consulting and support (remote or on-site) with the price specified per hour, as soon as possible.

“Please be informed that failure to respond within the timeframe, we will clear your shipment as a standard import, and the deadline is May 27, 2026.”

After Brexit and since Jan 1st 2026 it seems I may have to pay VAT if my package contains more than 1 pc. (PC and phone in my case.) Their UK number is 03457 877877. But their AI answerphone does not let me through. It all seems iffy to me. Anyone had this trouble? I’m looking up “standard import”.

They have the correct UPS number of my delivery and know the manifest. It all looks well dodgy. 77th Brigade?

These were the sender’s details (NB a PC is not a restricted item.)

The package surely went by boat but did pass through Tamworth UPS on its way, for some unknown reason, as it is out of the way. It all looks suspicious to me.

Turns out this is a Customs matter. As I have imported, even as an individual in a retail transaction, I may be liable to UK VAT or whatever. I’ve engaged a professional company to help. It remains mysterious why this was not brought up _before the package was delivered.
