Unable to install latest Qubes or Ubuntu

My Setup:

nitropad Ns50, v.2.5.0 (updated)

Qubes, latest Version : 4.2.2
Freezes during the installation at “post installation skipts”…

Ubuntu: 24.04
Installation complete, however, not able to boot like another user described it there:

No bootable os found + Factory Reset not working

Hi, i installed “Mint 21.3” via USB on a new NitroPad. After reboot I got the message no bootable is found on any partition. After reading in the docs that 21.3 is not supported I went through the same procedure with 20.1, same effect. Then I installed latest Ubuntu, same here. On the console : “mounting /dev/nvme0n1 on /boot failed: Invalid argument” Then I decided to go through the “Factory Reset”, after answering if I’d like to export my public key to an USB drive, he jumps straight back t…

My question is:

What Os Versions are working with a Ns50 v.2.5?
(To upgrade later)

Hi,
I have Qubes 4.2.1 installed on an NS70, which is the same hardware + firmware as your NS50. The only difference with your setup is that I installed Qubes while my firmware version was still the former one before 2.5.0 (2.4.1)
I installed from the official QubesOS iso - not the modified Nitrokey version.
I wonder if you could maybe try downgrading the firmware, see if it installs and then bump to latest firmware. It could also be the newer version 4.2.2 of Qubes install iso that has a specific problem with the new firmware - it was still V4.2.1 install iso I used back then.
