I bought a NitroPad V56 with Ubuntu and wanted to install QubesOS on it. However, I’m unable to do so because the installation gets stuck at “Starting the new kernel.” after selecting an install option from the QubesOS USB.
I connect the USB drive to my NitroPad and start it. In the Heads menu, I select Boot Options → USB Boot. The USB then presents me with six boot options, but all of them get stuck at “Starting the new kernel.”
I can still log in to Ubuntu by typing the password blindly.
However, installing QubesOS this way is much more difficult. Do I need to install QubesOS blindly, or is there another way to do this?
