With the help in the forum I identified so far the “root cause”, cleaned the system and oh, it updated. Within one step to the latest version !
But with good reason, nextcloud does’nt allow for jumps in major releases.
May I now know what is the MINIMUM sequence of updates I need to follow in order for my system to successfully upgrade STEP by STEP from 21.0.0.18 to 23.0.0.8?
As an example, I’m thinking of something like this:
linux pkg nextcloud 1.0.10-1
nextcloud 21.0.0
nextcloud 21.0.9 (-)
nextcloud 22.0.0 (-)
linux pkg nextcloud 1.0.27-1
sufficient() compatibility with
nextcloud 22.0.0 (-)
nextcloud 22.2.0 (-)
nextcloud 23.0.0 (-*)
(*) Sufficient compatibility means: the nextcloud package on operating system & app level supports the required DB updates to increase the nextcloud major versions.
(-) Those nextcloud versions which can be effectively controlled using the mentioned nextbox package version.
Candidates from former posts:
- 21.0.3 [NextBox] Aktualisierung auf Nextcloud 21.0.3 verfügbar
- 21.0.4 [NextBox] Aktualisierung auf Nextcloud 21.0.4 verfügbar
includes (at least) the pairing nextbox 10.0.16 / nextcloud 21.0.7 - 22.2.3, 22.2.6 Nextcloud update 22.2.6
